Great to here, I would like a Ferguson ted-20 or a tef-20 but not at the moment.

I does, you're right for once and that makes a change too!

Back on topic:
What tractor does you people recomend for me, I think Fergie te-d 20, International 574, MF 35, Leyland 245 and up, Nuffield 10/60, David Brown 1390/94, John Deere 1640, Zetor somrthing, ect. - which of these would be best for me or a different suggestion?
It needs to be a fairly cheap selling one and nothing stupid please.

That depends on what you spent on it, I'd say about 2000, but could be more could be less. Smile

I'm a Massey Man to the bone, always have been But have warmed to fendt in later years, My favourite Models from both are the 390 from Massey and the fendt Xylon, I had the pleasure to use both in anger and have to say they are great machines, I have a great old fondness for the Massey 178 as well as it was the tractor I learned to drive on, alas if the brakes were non existent in them.

You've driven a Xylon Surprised nice, the 600 series Masseys are better than the 300s apart from the rubbish steel used for the cab.

I had already answered his question and that is my YouTube name, "MrBvcx3"
I like all Masseys, 3000s are better than 300s TBH, 600s are great apart from the cab steel as Jd said.

Helps if you look at the latest page doesn't it. 3000s are better than 600s but the 300s are but than the 2 and 1 hundred series.

That doesn't quite make sence to me, do you mean that it's like evolution, they just get better and better, and if so you forgot the 500s and "10s"!

If you really look into it I've missed more than that. Basically yes evolution although after you hit the 6200 series things go downhill.

tier 2 were pretty good after that they are a bit cr@p, especially with that Dyna VT thing, that's a bit cr@p, which certainly doesn't help the rest of the tractor, new Masseys are Fendts from the gearbox back I believe.
